Advanced Band
The Advanced Band at La Colina is comprised of advanced students (mostly 8th graders) with a year or more experience in band. We explore a broader range of concert music and play the most advanced music offered for Junior High bands.
Starting in the Fall of 2009, the Advanced Band will meet during 6th period, every day.
Auditions are typically held in the Spring of the previous year, and are required for elligibility.
This group is an opportunity for the more advanced musicians in the program to shine, and we strive for the highest levels of performance.
